One of the most famous arteries in the country, which connects Vila Verde to Braga, has gained a new life.

The requalification of EN 101, starting at the border of the District of Viana de Castelo and Braga (km 63+017) and finishing at the intersection with EN 205 (83+460), in a 20,4 km extension, was a work executed in Consortium by ACA / Ângulo Recto, for Infraestruturas de Portugal.

The aim of this contract was to improve traffic and safety conditions by improving pavement, drainage, signalling and safety equipment, resurfacing intersections (curve at km 72+100, junction at km 76+150 - Gême Industrial Area and junction at km 82+975 - Roundabout 2 - EN 205), and treating urban crossings, among others.
